Sites that can join:
-
Almost any site dealing with breeding small critters is welcome to join!
What's a "small critter"? Rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, jirds, guinea
pigs, degus, chinchillas, duprasi, dormice, rabbits, ferrets, sugar gliders,
short tailed possums... whew! Basically, anything mammal and smaller
than a cat or dog.
-
Small breeders are also welcome; what I mean is, if you're basically a
pet-keeper but allow your pets to have the occasional litter, that's fine.
Sites that can not join:
-
Anything not dealing with breeding little critters, of course!
-
Breeders that produce animals partially or strictly as feeders (food for
other animals) are discouraged, but not barred completely.
-
Any site not rated "G", or any site that has offensive material in it will
not allowed.
How do I join the ring?
Fill out This
Form and you will be entered into what's called the "queue".
This is basically a holding area for sites that are interested in joining
the ring, but have not been checked out yet by the ringmaster. Before
the ringmaster will enter you into the actual ring, I will first check
that your site fits with the theme, and then I will check the make sure
you have the HTML up on the site and in proper working order. Only
then can I add you to the ring.
Where can I find the HTML?
First, you can find it on the
screen you will be sent to after you enter a site in the queue. Second,
you can find it in the email which will be sent to you after you enter
a site in the queue. Third, you can find it Here.
What about the graphic?
This ring has only one graphic.
You will need to download it to your hard drive (by right-clicking on the
image on a PC or clicking and holding it on an image on a Mac); please
do not link to the graphic from this site.
What now?
Normally, I will check the ring every few days to see who has entered
the queue, and check out the sites. Ideally your HTML should be up
soon after entering the queue, so that it's there by the time I check your
site. If I seem to be taking a long time entering your site in the
ring (you will get an email when this is done), then feel free to email
me and tell me to get my butt in gear! ;-)
